Building the brand
Mutually created by means of fantastic input and mood imagery from the client. The client and I started with his brand icon creation. He wanted something clean, simple, timeless, but he didn’t know what... This client happens to be an eye surgeon and loves “eyes” which gave me the thought of creating a circular icon encompassing his initials WGV. After a few iteration, we had a winner. Then we set out to start building an Online environment with all natural elements and regular folks wearing black with black backgrounds each wearing a pair of nerd glasses with the tape on the bridge. The purpose is to convey we all need our sight, our sight is crucial to learning and sustaining ourselves. The hook... #visioniscool. We accomplished this hands-down! All of our photography is super cool and every person we took photos of looks very cool. The casual, fun manner, using only non-model subject-matter spanning from children to seniors representing all demographics who could possibly need eye care assistance drives the brand essence perfectly.
The rest came together naturally. Utilizing the icon as background monogram textures, full page edgy style photographic images make any design look great... And these did. Assuring brand consistency through the entire brand development was simple and fun. The production and fulfillment was set in motion and is currently building a system which provides the underprivileged with eye exams as well as eye surgeries resulting in true goodwill for all who are in need. Quite honestly there’s so much more to say, but it’ll take to long to get it right. We’ll end with this... His mission is his name, Will Grant Vision!
